Champion Mobile Apps Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Champion Direct Services, LLC handles information in the Champion Vehicle Check and CD Driver App mobile applications. These private apps are intended only for authorized Champion personnel and business operations.
Champion Vehicle Check
Champion Vehicle Check requires an authorized staff account. The app processes the staff account email address and account identifier for authentication.
When a vehicle inspection is created, the app may process vehicle and equipment information, mileage, fuel level, tire readings, inspection answers, damage notes and markers, customer name, staff name, customer and staff signature information, dates, and photographs taken for the inspection. Completed inspection summaries may be emailed to Champion’s safety team.
Inspection drafts and photographs may be stored on the device so work can continue during a temporary connection loss. When a connection is available, inspection information and photographs are transferred to Champion’s secure cloud service. Authorized staff can view, update, or delete inspection records through the app according to their access.
CD Driver App
CD Driver App does not require a personal app account. For delivery paperwork, the app processes the load control number, driver name, driver number, and photographs the driver chooses to take or select. This information is sent to Champion Dispatch.
For maintenance requests, the app processes the date, driver name, equipment number, and request details. This information is sent to Champion’s safety team.
If the device is temporarily offline, a submission may be stored on the device and sent automatically when a connection returns. The queued copy is removed from the app after it is sent successfully.
Camera and photo access
The apps request camera or photo-library access only when a user chooses a feature that needs a photograph. They do not use the device’s precise location, contacts, microphone, advertising identifier, or health information. The apps do not include third-party advertising or a dedicated user analytics service.
How information is used
Champion uses information from these apps to document vehicle condition, administer leases and returns, maintain safety and inspection records, deliver paperwork to Dispatch, respond to maintenance requests, support authorized users, and meet operational or legal obligations. Champion does not sell this information or use it for targeted advertising.
Service providers
Champion uses Supabase for secure app authentication, cloud database, file storage, and server functions. Champion uses Resend to deliver app-generated emails to authorized Champion recipients. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services and are governed by their own privacy and security terms.
Apple or Google may process technical information when a user downloads, installs, or updates an app through their services. Their privacy policies apply to that processing.
Retention, security, and deletion
Champion retains inspection records, photographs, delivery paperwork, maintenance requests, and related emails for as long as reasonably needed for business operations, safety, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and recordkeeping. Locally queued information remains on the device until it is sent or removed through the app.
Champion uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect app information. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Authorized users may ask about, correct, or request deletion of information by contacting safety@championdelivery.com. Champion may retain information when required for legal, safety, employment, contractual, or legitimate business recordkeeping purposes.
Children’s privacy
These apps are business tools for authorized Champion personnel and are not directed to children under 13. Champion does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through these apps.
Changes and contact
Champion may update this policy when the apps or their information practices change. The effective date above shows when this policy was last updated.
